Christmas Star

I'm slowly stitching blocks for Christmas Star. I have 60 of them partially pieced but I'm going to need a total of 120 blocks.

This is just a portion of blocks that have been pieced and pressed.

And yes, that's another UFQ on the display wall. I don't know if I'll get that flimsy finished this year or not.

I've had a request from a granddaughter for aprons for her and her sisters. Christmas Star has been put on hold until the aprons are completed.

Both of your current projects are lovely. The Christmas Star is calling me to my scrap bins. Adding it to the list of must make scrap quilts.

Both quilts on your design wall are very pretty. Isn't it wonderful when the youngsters request something crafty from us? Enjoy your weekend.

How big are your Christmas Star blocks, Gretchen? I love how all those different prints create interest, but it still reads nearly red and green solid from a distance. I hope you show us the aprons when they're finished!
