Yellow Circles of Squares

Two yellow circle of squares blocks have been pieced.

The softer yellow squares would have been completely lost using the circle fabric for background so I dug around and found this lovely blue and white fabric for background.

Each block measures 12-1/2". Here is a link to the circle of squares pattern.

I'm glad you included the link for your blocks, Gretchen. LOVE these! I have wanted to make a set for a very long time. Maybe this month I can finally make a sample block!

The blocks look like fun. Thanks for providing the link.

Oh, that block looks complex and then when I read the tutorial I was surprised at how easy it is to make. Now I'm thinking I can make that and I probably will!

This isn't a hard block to make, I think it took me longer to prep the fabric then it did to piece the blocks. Maybe I'll see your circle of squares block next Saturday.

You'll be seeing the dotted fabric often. It's the leftovers from backing fabric.

I'll look for your block next Saturday!

I easily made both blocks in an afternoon, you can too!
