Scrappy Sprouts

I've made two scrappy sprouts blocks with yellow. I decided this month to give them a green stem.

Aren't you proud of me, I have actually participated for five months and haven't gotten impatient and finished the quilt!

I need to get my yellow blocks made this month and then get my quilt put together for RSC

Getting impatient and finishing quilts is not a bad thing. It is fun seeing all the blocks come together.

Good for you! If I ever catch up I would like to get to where I only have to make one block at a time! Cute block!

You are doing great practicing patience. The yellow sprouts look great.

The sprouts are looking good! It’s fun sewing blocks month by color month. Other things can be finished straight away, but there’s a lot to be said for patience and developing blocks and ideas over time. Enjoy the journey!

Lovely blocks! I haven't made ANY of mine yet! So good that you didn't get ahead of the game!

Nice job on your YELLOW scrappy Sprouts, Gretchen! Plenty of RSC Quilters over the years have grown impatient with the process and finished their quilts ahead of time. No worries, as long as you are USING your fabric scraps! :o))

Sometimes it takes me years of scraps to get to a quilt top! Whatever works!

Your yellow sprouts are great! It sometimes takes me a year or two to get my RSC blocks to a top/flimsy! They have to “marinate”!
