Block 21 was an easier block to applique, fast too!
Usually it is the circles that liven up the block, in this case it was when I added the green leaves. Fussy-cutting the flowers added added extra zing also. I think this background fabric is my favorite one of them all.
The Elegant Garden quilt was designed by Edyta Sitar in 2007.
I have challenged myself to use only the civil war fabrics I already have on hand.
Last week a commenter asked if I'd show more of actual process of applique. I have another project I'll work on after Elegant Garden is finished. I'll show more detail with those blocks.
