Block 19 of Elegant Garden is the last block in row 4, just one more row to appplique in this little quilt.
There are two blocks with this background fabric in this quilt. Both blocks have designs that the stripe can be turned either way. I'll make sure each block is turned differently from the other just to make the layout more interesting.
I had originally planned to make the little circles the same pink in the block I showed last week but pink didn't look right. These red circles were made to use in another block but they didn't work in that block. It is surprising how these little circles add zing to the blocks. Of course the circle in the center of the lavender block helps.
Here all the blocks so far.
The space in the empty spot will have a pieced block which I will piece after all the appliqued blocks are finished.
Elegant Garden is designed by Edyta Sitar.
Elaine finished the applique on the inside border of the relief sale quilt, Rhapsody in Blue. She sent it home with me to add the next round of 9 patch blocks.

Oh wow, your appliqué is so beautiful! This new block is a beauty, and I love the lavender center, so pretty! It's fun to see all the blocks together, well done! Love the blue Rhapsody too.
Thank you so much for sharing and linking up your lovely work.
You and Elaine make a great team! Rhapsody in Blue will be sure to fetch a large sum at the auction. Your Elegant Garden blocks are lovely…I love the zing the red and yellow circles add. Gail at the Cozy quilter

WOW! Rhapsody in Blue is a stunner!
Dear Gretchen, The appliqué is beautiful and it is funny how some colours just want to be used in different places on a quilt. Love, love all the appliqué work!

Your applique blocks are stunning all together! Your friend did a wonderful job with the applique. Looking forward to seeing your nine patch border!
All the applique in your elegant garden is delightful! I love the little "pops" of lavender amongst this more restricted palette.
Wow, what a bunch of beautiful appliqué--both quilts!!!
