Blue Stars Center Finished!

The applique center for blue Stars Around the Garden is finished! There are 60 leaves on this applique and they took awhile. After I took the picture, I trimmed the center to the correct size. Now I can start on the sashing.

I didn't even touch the vintage Boston Commons quilt this week so I don't have a hand quilting update but I did finish knitting another dishcloth.

I love your appliquéd center! It's so pretty and nicely done. That is a great dishcloth - it's a gorgeous color of blue, one of my favorites. Does that knit stitch have a name? ~Jeanne

I love your appliqued center and all 60 leaves look amazing!!! I hope you enjoyed making that pretty blue dishcloth too... It is nice to take some time off a big project I think... I am pondering going back to my frame this week and working on Appalachian Delight :D Have a happy week ahead Gretchen!

I knit a scarf with that same stitch for grandson a few years ago and it was in blue too. Lovely. Oh I'm drooling over that applique center...a lot of hand work so worth the amazing result.
