Progress!

Hand quilting happened this week. Most of the center of the quilt has been quilted.

And  . . . drumroll please . . . the applique on the border of blue Stars Around the Garden has been completed!

Blue stars is supposed to be the next quilt in the hand quilting frame but it will take me several week to get this marked for quilting. It measures 90" by 106". This is the 3rd quilt I've made from this pattern but the first time I've made the appliqued border version.

the kids quilt is so cute and the quilting you are doing adds so much to it. Marking is not my favorite thing for a quilt - but so necessary!

Oh my goodness, Blue Stars Around the Garden is a joy! Those applique flowers in each corner are beautiful. I can just imagine how beautiful this quilt will be when quilted. I wonder which quilting patterns you will decided upon. As for Noah's Ark is just makes me smile. All those sweet animals hanging out together amongst all your gorgeous quilting.....such fun.
