Progress With Easy Breezy

Sashing has been sewn in between the blocks and the blocks are sewn into 13 rows. There are 11 blocks in a row.

The yellow fabrics are all yellows but varying shades of yellow. Most of the blues are various shades of blue but I've added in some cousins too, purple, teal and aqua.

A lot of the sashing fabric is remnants from whole cloth quilt backings. Several of the remnants are entirely gone, at least in the 2" strip box.

The vertical sashing is now in progress.

Gretchen this is looking great! I just love it :) Are you using cornerstones with your remaining sashing strips or just a long strip? I am ready for next week to see the finished flimsy now! lol Thanks for sharing this Easy Breazy quilt in the making <3 Kathi

You've really done a good job on that. That's a lot of pieces! Congratulations on getting near the finish line.

This is just so pretty - the colors are so soothing, and I like the way that yellow just zips on through!

Wow, you've made a lot of progress and it's looking great. Love the yellow and blue combo. Makes me want to start on my own leader-ender project. Can't wait to see it finished!

Gosh, it seems like you just started making those Easy Peasies! I've often thought about making a scrappy quilt in a limited color scheme like blues and yellows. I started off with that thought a couple of times but somehow I strayed off that path and the quilts ended up with way more than two colors.

The sashing is perfect, you can hardly tell it's there. My mom always said, "if you don't notice it, it's right." This is a really pretty quilt!
