The last four granny squares are pieced. A lot of older greens, browns and neutral have been used, the amount of 2.5" squares in the box really has been reduced!
These blocks along with the other eight blocks are ready to be sewn together into a flimsy. I'll be using sashing and cornerstones to finish. I'll show you next week!

great way to use scraps, I have made these blocks several times over the years.
Beautiful new blocks Gretchen, Sashing and cornerstone will make a secondary block giving much more interst to the quilt. Fantastic amount ou 2,5 scrap quares.
These are really beautiful--your colorways are just perfect...nice work hugs, Julierose
Your jumbo Granny squares look amazing Gretchen. This looks like a really fun project. I am going to have to make a note of it for a future project. Thank you for sharing and inspiring.
Hooray for using up some old scraps! It’s going to make a great quilt!.
That project has moved so fast, eager to see the flimsy done. Thanks for linking up with To-Do!
Looking good!
What a wonderful way to use scraps. I have always loved crocheted granny square afghans, but never got the hang of crocheting. This is definitely the right alternative!
Gosh these are pretty! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
I'm excited to see this finish. There was so much work put into it and the colors are great. While your 2.5" squares is minimized mine is growing. The fabric cutter has eliminated a lot of fabric waste in my sewing room, Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down.
