Tennesee, 2025 Laundry Basket Mystery Quilt

My 2025 Laundry Basket Mystery Quilt, designed by Edyta Sitar and now called Tennesee, has come home from Calico Point where the long arm quilting happened.

I really like this quilt, the house border is so cute!

It measures 97" square.

I had said that the binding would be a light blue stripe but it's not a true stripe. It is the difference in the floral print.

The backing fabric is a dark gray fabric.

I don't remember the name of the quilting design. It shows on the light fabric on the front of the quilt and all of the backing fabric.

This was a fun quilt to piece, maybe someday I may make a second one from this pattern.

I love the touches of brown tones mixed in with the blues. The long arm quilting design looks wonderful. How unique the binding gives that stripe look while not being a stripe at all.

It's a beautiful finish. The house border is super cute. I happily followed along the e-mails and watched yours grow. It is a great pattern. The quilting on it looks fun to touch and works great with all the straight lines. Where will this one find a home?

This quilt is designated to go to Lydia, she's the oldest of the granddaughters and is a blue girl. The blue and brown fabrics just blend well in this quilt. I have a lovely quilt and the fabrics that were purchased for another project are no longer guilting me.

Beautiful finish, Gretchen! I'm fascinated by the subtle striped effect you achieved in your binding from the print. I think I have some of that fabric in my own stash, too, but probably not enough to bind more than a potholder with it!

I thought when I saw the thumbnail that that was a "Tennesee". Looks really good in a blue and "lights" colorway!

Gorgeous, and I love that binding. You did a beautiful job on it. Will it hang in your house or go on a bed?

It's a bed quilt. It could be displayed though until Lydia is ready for it.
