Still Quilting

There was hand quilting this week, just not a lot of it.

Half of the churn dash blocks on row 6 are quilted and the bottom halves of the white squares are too.

I hope you have sometime to relax today and do some slow stitching on whatever project you are working on.

Every little bit of stitching counts towards the end result. Your stitching is beautiful.

Just having the the hand quilting ready to work on can be the goal, instead of "done and folded". Seeing your quilting is a pleasure.

I have watched you progress through this long endeavor, and can so totally relate. I have hand-quilted several quilts, and sometimes it seems as if it will never get done. Some weeks I can work many hours; others, I barely touch it. Your work is much more intricate than any I've done; and it looks spectacular!

It's such a fun process to see the texture of the stitches spread across the blocks!

Your quilt is just beautiful - I have loved watching it progress. I would like to ask you how you marked the quilting - and did you mark the whole quilt before basting or as you get to a new part? I am anxious to start hand quilting a project and just can't decide how to mark.

Beautiful! Don't worry about the quantity if the quality is as high as this - the rest of the world is looking on in awe and admiring it every step of the way!
Hope you find more stitching time this week if that's what you want, though!
