Last winter I decided I would participate in the 2025 Designer Mystery Quilt BOM through Fat Quarter Shop. The mystery started in June and I've completed the first block.
I've never participated in a BOM through an online shop before but I thought Corey Yoder's fabrics used in this quilt were very pretty. The fabrics are from her Abloom line and is now available in stores.
This BOM was #16 on my list of projects to make this year but the flimsy won't be completed this year, it continues into 2026.

I can see why you decided to participate in this BOM - love the fabrics!
I participated in a BOM with Fat Quarter Shop years ago and was impressed with the promptness of arrival of the kit, the uncomplicated instructions, and the generous pieces of fabric to cut. It was a very good experience. You're going to have fun. The block turned out very nice.
These fabrics are brighter and more colorful than fabrics I normally sew with. It's time for some different colors!
Your block is beautiful. I've participated in a few BOMs from FQS. They are so generous with the fabrics in their kits. I am not doing this Designer Mystery but I look forward to following your progress!
Those fabrics are gorgeous! What a lovely block. This should make a really pretty quilt. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
