I rolled after last week's post and quilted across the quilt again. Starting at the left side is the left side border. The applique in this border is completed so it's all quilting now.
There should be a pieced patchwork border before the next applique border. I don't understand where it disappeared to! Oh well, it looks like the patchwork border that appears in the right side.
This border is around the center applique. I stitched in the ditch on both sides of the border.
This is a close up from the above picture so you can see the background quilting design. This curvy triangle design is unusual, I like t better than straight triangles.

I'm ready to be done quilting this quilt, this is my evening stitching and Sunday afternoons also.

Your stitching is beautiful. That is a fun filler stitch with the curved triangles. Is it from a stencil or is it a freehand pattern?
It's a designed I was given many many years ago. I made copies of the design and taped them together so I have a BIG design to trace off of. I'll have to show this on my blog someday. Thanks for commenting.
It's been awhile since I've been able to check on this progress. Your work is so beautiful! Is there a post showing the progress of the whole quilt at this point?

Ooh, those lovely Feather Wreaths! I wish I could hand quilt as finely as that (I know, I know, practice, practice, practice....). Every month I see this, I am thrilled watching your progress on it. This must be entered into a competition or displayed in a show when it is done. It will be stunning!!
