The 9th block of the Designer Mystery quilt, which came in February, has been pieced. I had planned to take a picture before adding the sashing but I forgot.
Here are the nine blocks sewn together.
I don't know why February's block looks so wrinkled, I guess I need to press it again. I'm glad I pieced the sashing last December so it's ready to add to the blocks when they're pieced.

I love the corners of these pretty blocks! It gives the "sampler" look a nice cohesiveness. Can't wait to see your sashing!
Very pretty, Gretchen!
Is there a mistake in the block? Looks like one section is turned wrong.
Smart of you to do all the sashing so you can add blocks as you get them done. This looks lovely. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

Thank you! You are right, it is turned wrong! I'll get that change right away. I appreciate you letting me know!
Aaw so very lovely, Gretchen. I adore the soft palette.
This looks lovely and the sashing works beautifully. x
It's lovely...and the sashing is such a unique idea.
So pretty! That sashing is so interesting and striking.
The layout of this quilt is so very unique. But…I need to tell you that one of the units is backwards, Gretchen. The top orange unit is up and the rest are down. I thought you’d want to know. Sorry!
Yes it is, another commenter pointed that out to me. I'll definitely get it corrected. Thanks for letting me know!
Hi Gretchen, your quilt is so lovely! Will you be quilting this one in your quilting marathon? Thanks for linking up to I Quilted This!
Probably not, I think it will be too big for me to handle. I'll decide for sure after it's completely finished in May.
Okay, this one is very interesting! So the pieced borders and corners are actually considered a "sashing"? I looked back and saw these are made from block kits -- is the color sashing linked to the specific block or can you choose to switch them around? In any event, I like that they don't read as a regular "straight strip" sashing -- really unique!
The sashings are specified for each block or at least I'm not changing them. This way the colors will be evenly distributed around the quilt.
What a pretty quilt top! I love the creative sashing and the soft colours. Good to catch that oopsy before it is quilted. Gail at the Cozy Quilter
Oh, I love this!! SO pretty!

I love the black squares on the corners, your sashings are pretty all together! Great idea to sew them in advance. Luckily, the February's block is easily accessible ;) Thank you for sharing your beautiful project and linking up.
This is a pretty block, but should all the points be outward.
I am loving the understated elegance of this design. The peach/coral shines while the beige and blue play supporting roles. The brown/black provide the perfect accent.
That looks amazing!
