My computer problems have been solved. My computer was 11 years old and didn't have the capacity to update anymore. I have a new computer now. There is a lot of blogging catch-up to do but we're leaving this evening to travel to Maryland to spend Thanksgiving with our oldest son and his family. (This is the Pennsylvania family who have now moved to Maryland.) The next post will be next Sunday.
Lady Jane is now displayed on a wall! Aren't blue, white and gray quilts striking?
I washed the quilt after she had the binding attached to remove the markings. Washing made her do some puckering. I thought the center of this flower was interesting.
After Christmas, I'm going have a blue & white display on the rafters.
In the last post about Lady Jane, I realized I neglected give you the finished size, she measures 87" by 93", a perfect size for my wall space.
She is hand quilted with a wool batt. The fabrics were a variety of blues I had in my stash. Click here for the Lady Jane finished post to see more pictures.

Lovely!
Gretchen, it is GORGEOUS! What a masterpiece! I really enjoyed looking at this morning, it's real eye candy!
Absolutely gorgeous and looks great on the wall!
Having a new computer will be a game changer. I had to do that last year, it's a pain to switch, but it's so nice once you get all that done. Lady Jane is stunning! You have it up in a perfect place so you can enjoy it. Safe travels and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Lady Jane is gorgeous! So glad you have a new computer now. It is amazing how quickly they can become obsolete. Enjoy your Thanksgiving with family in Maryland. Safe travels.
Just beautiful! I had never thought of adding gray to a blue and white quilt! Just stunning’
Lady Jane is so, so pretty! She looks amazing on your wall. Congrats on the new computer. :) Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
It turned out wonderful, have a good time with your family. I love how a quilt looks after washing it gives it such a nice crinkly antique look - more loved if you know what I mean.
How pretty! Reminds me of the "Willow" dishes my grandmother collected. There's something so classic about a blue and white color scheme.
I love blue and white - so clean and fresh. The grey adds a lovely extra dimension. I also love the way quilts pucker up after washing, a favourite moment. xx
So glad you got the computer set straight now, Gretchen! Eleven years was a looong life for a computer! And yes, your blue & white quilt is so beautiful hanging in that spot!!!
Lady Jane is a beauty, and looks wonderful hanging on your wall. Glad you were able to get a new computer, too. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving trip!
Yes she is beautiful!
I love blue and white quilts even without the gray. The wool batt makes the quilting and the pieces very puffy. Loved working with a wool batt although they can be expensive at times.
What's that saying? The sum is greater than the parts? This is a magnificent quilt, Gretchen. Good job all around and I love it displayed like that.
Beautiful!
welcome back! lady jane is gorgeous! i live in MD too...
What a beautiful quilt Lady Jane is!
Beautifully made and it hangs so beautifully next to that old cupboard.
Enjoy this beauty, especially the middle part is beautiful.
Greetings,
Floor
Oh, so lovely! So glad that you got your computer issues settled and are able to post photos once again.
Lady Jane is beautiful. Enjoy your family trip away. I think my old computer needs replacing too, I'll be leaving that job to hubby.
What a great place to display Lady Jane's beauty. I'm glad your computer issues are sorted. It's crazy for everything to work fine on one day and the next it won't work and you didn't do anything! Safe travels and enjoy the family at Thanksgiving!
So nice to see Lady Jane on display! Such a lovely quilt! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. We need a new computer and have been dreading it.
What a gorgeous quilt this is!!! We have been having Internet problems - isn't it amazing how much we depend on having our electronics and computers?! Have a wonderful trip and enjoy. ~Jeanne

Beautiful. Technology is great when it all works properly. 🤪 I'm glad you got it all worked out.
She's just beautiful and has come up lovely with the wash. I recently needed to change my computer too and didn't realise how slow the old one was!
