I know now what my mistake was but it's going to stay like that. I freely admit that I'm not perfect, there is no way I'm going to take these flowers apart!

I'm behind in posting. Several weeks ago I showed you a picture of the tilled soil for the 2023 Wakarusa Quilt Garden. I was in Wakarusa the following week and the garden had been planted!

It is very easy to have hexies a little askew when stitching them together. I'm with you, Gretchen, perfectly imperfect is fine. The Quilt Garden is amazing. It will be beautiful when the flowers have grown a little more.
it is hard to keep all the hexies straight and not make a mistake. I have to constantly check and recheck my work and admit to having done a little unpicking here and there.
Very pretty table runner, nice progress! When I find a mistake in an antique quilt, it always helps me relate to the quilter. She made mistakes, too, just like me!
Your Flower Garden runner is beautiful! I enjoyed seeing the garden growing, too. That is a pretty design this year!
Your table runner is really pretty. No one but you will know of the mistake unless you point it out. That planted quilt garden is going to be very pretty once it fills in.

I dont know anything about hexies but your project looks fine to me. I'm amazed that so many of you work on these teeny tiny pieces.
What a lovely idea to plant Quilt Gardens. You nearly need a viewing platform or upstairs window to get the best view. I love the colours in your runner. Without you pointing it out, I cannot see where your mistake is. Don’t tell us and we won’t know. It will be gorgeous when it is completed.

Done is better than perfect. It's hard to see the error, it won't be noticeable to anyone but you. The quilt garden is really cool. Happy stitching this week.
I'd call it a design element! I'm glad you are leaving the error in. . .probably you are the only one that is going to notice it! The quilt block garden is fabulous!

Yes, Flower Garden projects are so slow, but wow! Yours is so pretty! I love that quilt in the background! I agree with you, not taking the flowers apart! I tried that on my own GRG and tore some fabric! It’s really lovely! I’ve never heard of quilt gardens, so your post was especially interesting! Thank you so much for sharing!
At least your hexies are consistently "off" so you can just pretend that is what you meant to do all along! The garden is looking fab, such a lovely idea.
I don't see any error, so it must not stick out very much. I would totally leave it as well. Your hexies are lovely!
