The rows for Wintersweet have been sewn together. I did not lay all the blocks out individually. I gambled and just sewed the blocks as I came to them in the stack. I think I did pretty good.
Even though I have a very nice display wall, I organized the rows on the floor. It's hard to reach that high!
These blocks make me smile, I think this is going to be a lovely quilt.
I'll decide if I want to add borders while I'm sewing the rows together. The pattern doesn't show borders but I'm normally a border person.
The free pattern for Wintersweet is found here.

I love your wintersweet and will be excited to see how you finish the flimsy once these rows are joined! Great job on your grab and sew abilities too!

Thanks for sharing the link—it is a sweet quilt.
I love the subtle scrappiness of this quilt. It is going to be lovely! ~Jeanne
nice-- the quilt looks harder to do then you can see it is once it is broken down into blocks
A lovely quilt indeed. I'm looking forward to seeing the borders. It will be awesome.
Ah beautiful! Nothing like a chain to get me inspired! I just love them! Might be having a squirrel moment...
Beautiful! I love the fresh crisp look of the reds and greens on the crisp fallen snow of the background. For a border, I wonder about a wide strip of a beautiful Christmas print?
Am also visualizing this in lavenders and greens for spring pansies.
It's so lovely! I'm generally a border person, but I think I like it just as it is!
Thank you for sharing your nearly done quilt.
Wintersweet looks beautiful. I love it!
That is looking so pretty.
That's so pretty Gretchen, I'll wait and see what you do about borders.
Gretchen Wintersweet is a beauty. It will be fun to see if you add borders and what fabrics you will choose if you do. Have fun this week. Thank you for linking with To Do Tuesday and posting a link to the pattern. 😃
