Another block is completed for Hearts & Wreaths, block 12. Of course this block really is the prettiest one so far.
I also took a picture of all 12 blocks arranged on the display floor, it's so exciting see the quilting coming to life. I really like the bright colors on the soft yellow.
The yellow in the above picture is true to life. Apparently the secret to having the yellow the right shade is to take the photos with a snow background!

Such pretty blocks! Love the scrappiness of this project, you used them well.
Love seeing all blocks together. You will make a gorgeous quilt, Gretchen.
Oh my, all of these blocks are beautiful with all of those pretty fabrics. They look wonderful together.

Oh how beautiful, seeing all these blocks together!
I love all your blocks, and your hand quilting is fantastic. I love reading your blog, too. I think you and I both love the color we're viewing, and the fragrance we're smelling (flowers). My kids ask me my favorites and that is pretty much my answer. I can't lock down one favorite because nature is so full of different colors. Anxious to see this one when it's done, and love your current hand quilting project, as well as the many I have watched in your postings. Great quilters always inspire me to do better.
I love the brightness of these Gretchen, they are so colorful and cheery!
These blocks are so beautiful. Colorful like a firework and you have got a beautiful color harmony.
Another gorgeous block! Love them all!
So pretty... the blocks just sparkle!
I think you say that about all your blocks! Each one is delightful, and together, they are gorgeous!
Love this one with the bright and beautiful blue hearts. All the blocks are just gorgeous.
Oh yes, the trick of seeing the true colours of a quilt is to have it photographed in the snow! Such a shame I never have snow....not. =) Each one of your blocks is a little masterpiece which when all stitched together and then quilted with your magical quilting hands, will be amazing. Just for the record, each one of your wreaths is my favourite one, too.
I'm planning on making 25 blocks so I'm a little less than halfway. I knew this was going to be a long term quilt when I started. I seem to average 2 blocks a month.
I still have a lot more blocks to applique.
Gretchen, thank you for adding some cheer to a gloomy, rainy day. Your blocks made me smile!
