Last year I used darker, brighter yellows for the sprouts blocks. This year I went for softer, more subdued yellows and made 2 blocks.
I also pieced two 16 square blocks, they'll finish at 8".

There are a lot of shades of yellow. I always think the the bright and sunny ones, but the butter soft are such a nice change.
Nice additions to your Sprouts collection, Gretchen! Every time I see your 16-Patch blocks, I want to start making some of my own. Alas, I have enough collections that I'm not currently adding to!

In the Sprouts quilt, it's fun to have lots of different shades of all the colors! Those soft yellows will be pretty in yours.
