I've finally completed 28 blue 4-patch blocks for the RSC for July. Here are 9 of the blocks on display.
Some of these fabrics would have worked for the mixed color month but I just threw them in anyway. They just add a little zing to the overall effect.
Now I need to piece the Star Dance blocks.

I was just writing a comment on another blog how much I like a blue and white combo. Yours is good.
I love that little red block tossed in!
That red is actually a blue & red variegated fossil fern fabric. That little 1" square happens to be all red but it sure livens up that block.
Oops I hope you have noticed the top left hand block. One 4 patch is going the wrong way.
Love the blues though
Every quilt needs a little (or a lot of) zing!!! The touch red in the sea of blue is just perfect.
Thanks, I missed that. I'll have to dig through the blocks and find that one. That is the sort of thing that will drive me nuts if it gets quilted that way!
Looking good Gretchen! I did that when I first started putting the blocks together 2 times and from then on I really check them, or I would be the Queen of Ripping again!!!!!
Hi Gretchen! I just love these blocks - I never met a patch block I didn't like. HAHA Cannot wait to see the Star Dance blocks with them. ~smile~ Roseanne
Blue and white is a classic for a reason - these are so pretty and I can't wait to see what you do with them!
I love that little dot of color!
These are such lovely scrappy blocks!
They look great!
wonderful idea for blue - fun
Those are pretty in blue and white, and I, too, love the little zing of red in that one square!
So cute! Yep, the red definitely adds spice!
Great blocks. Definitely like the touch of red, it somehow draws your attention even more to the blue squares.
Beautiful blocks!
So pretty in blue!
