All of the blocks for Sweet Kisses have been trimmed and the blocks have been sewn into rows!
Here is a closer up picture of the blocks.
Now I need to cut the side triangles to finish the rows. I don't cut every part needed for a quilt right away, I like to work in sections.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty quilt! I have to cut all the pieces out at the start for fear that I would mistakenly use the fabric for some other project.

ReplyDeleteLovely progress, though it has colour it is still quite low volume. Cutting as you go works for me too.

ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one who works that way. Bugs me when I see the first cutting instruction is to cut the binding! I don't do that on any quilt until I'm ready to do the binding. I'm also one of those folks who don't care if there's a seam in my binding or borders.
