This week I can show you I finished the row I was working last week, the left side block and the left side border.
After the quilting was finished on that section, I rolled and started with the right side border then the sashing in between the blocks and the bottom of the block above it.
The center takes awhile to stitch in the ditch around the applique.
Such a great design to show your beautiful hand quilting. I hope to see the finished quilt someday at the quilt retreat. Do you have baby calves on the farm this spring?
The border design is so beautiful with the swirly lines and feathers!

More lovely progress! I can well imagine the length of time the curvy triangles take on the central block. It is such a lovely quilting design.

yes we do slow down quilting around applique don't we - I find I am doing that too - your quilt is very pretty and the stitching is so nice
