Progress!

 Hand quilting happened this week. Most of the center of the quilt has been quilted. 











And  . . . drumroll please . . . the applique on the border of blue Stars Around the Garden has been completed!


Blue stars is supposed to be the next quilt in the hand quilting frame but it will take me several week to get this marked for quilting. It measures 90" by 106". This is the 3rd quilt I've made from this pattern but the first time I've made the appliqued border version.

  4. I love your little panel quilt and how you are making it sing!!! I hope to start back on the wedding quilt soon now... I love completely the outer border and the inner applique too... I am sew excited to see this one marked and quilted.. do you have the plan all figured out yet??? My frame is going in my sewing room here .. with my 2 vintage machines, my fabric and bag making and crafting stash and it is 11 x 12 or something... queen bed is tight in there is the size... pray for me! lol Kathi

  6. the kids quilt is so cute and the quilting you are doing adds so much to it. Marking is not my favorite thing for a quilt - but so necessary!

  18. Oh my goodness, Blue Stars Around the Garden is a joy! Those applique flowers in each corner are beautiful. I can just imagine how beautiful this quilt will be when quilted. I wonder which quilting patterns you will decided upon. As for Noah's Ark is just makes me smile. All those sweet animals hanging out together amongst all your gorgeous quilting.....such fun.
