Slow Sunday Stitching

Last week I made sure there was time for hand applique and hand quilting.

The first border corner of blue Stars Around the Garden has had the leaves appliqued and is finished. Leaves make such a difference! A start has been made on the second corner. The pattern for Stars Around the Garden is here.

I quilted across Noah's Ark crib quilt, the sea is finished and most of the ark is too. I'll start quilting the animals this week but they're going to take awhile, there is a lot of detail with them. I had more pictures of Noah's Ark but they've disappeared into the abyss!

  1. The abyss always seems to gobble up things. I wonder where they are?? Yes, your leaves do make the flowers shine; they are lovely. Noah's Ark is such a sweet quilt and of course your beautiful quilting makes it even more so.
