Still Sewing Rows

Another section of the puss in the corner quilt has been sewn together, just the 3 center rows to go.

I stacked some of the blocks in the bottom corner so I could use my chair again. Also a grandson wanted to play with the Lego's.

Almost finished!

  1. wow!! Do you pin every seam or do you have another trick to get them so perfectly aligned?

    1. Taking the time to press the red/brown blocks a different direction from the red/aqua blocks has paid off. They lock into each other and as I stitch, I make sure each seam is in the right place so no pinning. I guess I should say I do 1 pin. That is to make sure the brown triangle is the right place when I start sewing. I haven't had to take any seams apart.

  3. A lot of seams to match up! This is when I put a book on. It's not my favorite part of quilting but it sure is fun to see it all come together! Yay!

  4. Hi Gretchen! Wow, this looks like it is going to be a huge quilt. Lots of nice details - I like to look at quilts like this when I'm enjoying being warmed by them. To enjoy the different fabrics and how you put them together. Thanks for linking up this week and Happy Thanksgiving! ~smile~ Roseanne
