Progress With Easy Breezy

Sashing has been sewn in between the blocks and the blocks are sewn into 13 rows. There are 11 blocks in a row.

The yellow fabrics are all yellows but varying shades of yellow. Most of the blues are various shades of blue but I've added in some cousins too, purple, teal and aqua.

A lot of the sashing fabric is remnants from whole cloth quilt backings. Several of the remnants are entirely gone, at least in the 2" strip box.

The vertical sashing is now in progress.

  11. Gosh, it seems like you just started making those Easy Peasies! I've often thought about making a scrappy quilt in a limited color scheme like blues and yellows. I started off with that thought a couple of times but somehow I strayed off that path and the quilts ended up with way more than two colors.

  12. The sashing is perfect, you can hardly tell it's there. My mom always said, "if you don't notice it, it's right." This is a really pretty quilt!
