Here are the April blue Ohio Stars blocks.
These blocks are foundation paper pieced so I counted 11 papers to make 11 blocks. After they were pieced and I was trimming them to their 5" unfinished size, I discovered I had pieced 13 blocks! Apparently I still haven't learned to count correctly.

I LOVE Ohio Stars! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI made a quilt with this block several years ago - here's a link to it, if you're interested: https://www.instagram.com/p/khR0tESnKg/

ReplyDeleteCounting has never been my strong suit either, unfortunately. But you've got a bonus block, so all good! The Ohio Star blocks look great; I am currently making a quilt using Ohio Stars, too. Your blocks are miniatures of mine - 10.5" unfinished.
ReplyDeleteThose Stars for April's RSC turned out great! About the counting (or rather MIScounting?) I can SEW keep you company in that (and I'm a knitter, as well as a quilter!)
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are lovely, and never too many! As label the 2 extra will be perfect ;)
ReplyDeletethe blocks with the darker neutral has a whole different look - great stars
ReplyDeleteThose are such great stars! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them!
ReplyDeleteSometimes, it is good to have a few extra. You can be picky about who goes into the quilt. Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you have extras to swap in or out? LOL
ReplyDeleteYay! Bonus blocks! Each and every one beautiful!
