The border of Elegant Garden is complete finished, now I can concentrate on quilting the blocks.
Last week I completed the bottom sections of three blocks.
Elegant Garden is designed by Edyta Sitar, Laundry Basket Quilts.
Behind the scenes I'm still prepping the Tree of Life quilt, it takes a LOT of time! My goal is to start the applique on January 1, 2027. Do you have a new project to start on New Year's Day? Have you started the prep work for it yet? Time is speeding by, it won't be that long until January. 😉

Time does indeed speed by! Elegant garden is a very pretty quilt. I have a long list of quilts I would like to make but need to finish a bunch of UFO’s before starting anything new. Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteElegant Garden is beautiful, your quilting looks very pretty. Yes, time flies and the end of the year is just around the corner. I don't even dare set a deadline for finishing my current quilt! Have fun preparing the Tree of Life, and thank you for sharing and linking up!
ReplyDeleteYou've made such good progress on Elegant Garden. I'm sure it doesn't feel that way. It's fun to prep for a new quilt. I do have plans to start a new Rainbow Scrap project next year.
ReplyDeleteI'm always blown away by your beautiful quilting. Awesome progress on this one. I always have new projects floating around in my head, and often put inspirational pictures of new projects on my sewing room bulletin board.
ReplyDeleteI have never deliberately planned to start a new project on New Year's Day, but it does sound like a nice tradition. Your Elegant Garden is progressing nicely! I love those little flower buds; perfect fabric selection there to make them stand out just enough.
ReplyDeleteYour applique is beautiful. I keep trying to tempt myself with applique projects, but I always find something else to work on first.
