Sweet Kisses is a flimsy! She doesn't scream Christmas quilt at you so she can be used all year round.
The first picture is taken outside on the glider.
Here she is draped over the couch.
For the final picture, she is displayed on a bed.
She measures 69" by 80" now. I'm sure she'll shrink after being quilted and laundered.

Lovely top, Gretchen. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteLovely flimsy finish! Will this be long armed or quilted on your home machine? I agree!!! It doesn’t look specifically Christmas at all in your pics!… it’s a great snuggly quilt on the couch curled up with a good book quilt too! Congrats!

ReplyDeleteOh, this is lovely and for use all year.
ReplyDeleteSuch a simple pattern and colors, yet so lovely as a whole. Now to see the quilting one of these days.
ReplyDeleteI just spent a little time looking through your most recent posts. Fun items. You finish a lot! I wish I was that productive. I "start" a lot but the finishing . . . not so much. I love the black star quilt and the SAHRR quilt and what I could see of Lady Jane was gorgeous! Can't wait to see that one finished!
ReplyDeleteI just spent some time reading your most recent posts and admire how much you finish. I start a lot of things but never get around to finishing. My favorites are Lady Jane and the black and white star quilt, and the SAHRR. Oh who am I kidding, I love all quilts!
ReplyDeleteI had fun looking through your most recent blog posts. Lots of finishes! Lady Jane is going to be gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteNo, doesn't say Christmas to me! And what a good way to use up a lot of low volume scraps....hmmm... or maybe make in reverse and use up a lot of colored scraps...
ReplyDeleteThat sure IS sweet! Love how it uses low-volume fabrics for the background. What a cute, scrappy quilt, and thanks for the link to the pattern, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet quilt! Easy to make, yet your fabric selection of fabrics is great! Have a great Sunday! (Late in commenting)
