Blue Stars Around the Garden, Quilting the White Border

My main focus this week has been hand quilting! The white border is 9" wide, I can't quilt the width in one pass so about half is quilted now.

Here is the border from the right side moving toward the left, just like I quilt.







I've rolled, the top border has been pinned to the backing.

The almost 5 year old is a determined little guy. He enjoys climbing this tree.

  2. Climbing trees was one of our favourite pastimes, it brings back so many good memories from when we were young children.your quilt is going to be a stunner when she is done. Love all the beautiful quilting and the blues with the yellows. Wow!

  4. My mother had a small tree like that in her yard when my children were young and they loved to climb it also. Your quilting is so pretty and you are so close to finishing this quilt. Enjoy your stitching!

    That tree is perfect for an almost 5 year old to climb! When I was almost 5 I would have loved it, too!
