9 Patches in a Square

In August I finished piecing a quilt I called Scrappy 9 Patches. I didn't use all the 9 patches so I came up with another quilt to use them, 9 Patches in a Square!
The triangles for the patches and the fabric for the alternate squares were in my stash waiting to be used.
This was a fairly quick and easy quilt since the blocks were already pieced. 
I'm going to donate this flimsy to the comforter bash and it needs to be 60" by 80" but was just a little bit less than that. So I added the narrow blue borders on the sides.

 There are still some 9 patches left but they're back in a box for now.

    I looked up Scrappy Nine Patches, too -- both quilts turned out very well. Congratulations for getting that stack of blocks out of the box and into finished quilts.

    I just love 9 patches and this quilt is AWESOME... so happy you had the stash to make some of your excess 9 patches into a lovely donation for charity! some one will feel the love you made in this :) Kathi

    This is a pretty quilt. Love the fabrics you used; they all play wonderfully together. Someone is going to adore this quilt when it is gifted to them. How wonderful you are to donate your time and love to this worthy charity.
