There are 7 square blocks in a row. The next row will have 5 square blocks and 2 side triangles.
So far the quilting has been stitch in the ditch. There will be a few blocks in this quilt that might have an overall design but not in this row.
I've made good progress on prepping the Star Dance applique but nothing to show.

Wonderful quilting and quilt, I love the Blue and Yellow combo. Your quilt will be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI’m afraid to ask ...how big is each block in your quilt! There sure are a lot of ditches for quilting! Looking great!
ReplyDeleteThe square blocks are 6" finished.
DeleteOh my! That is insane. LOVE the tiny pieces. Happy stitching.
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt and have come to realize one of the reasons I decided to not make the quilt after I had the book was the colors that the author used really threw me off and I couldn't see it any other way and I hated her colors LOL -- I love your colors and have seen it in red/white combo and loved that too
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to make another blue & white quilt so this time I decided to make it scrappy blues with yellow. Sometimes it is really hard to imagine a quilt in another colorway.
DeleteSuch a fun hand quilting project... each block is a challenge to decide on the stitching path.
ReplyDeleteIt is looking wonderful. Can't wait to see how you handle the setting triangles.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful project! I really like the blues and yellows together.

ReplyDeleteOh my word, those pieces are tiny!!! Beautiful
ReplyDeleteNI is coming along very well for you! It is nice to quilt a quilt that each block is different! Keeps the boredom down. Your quilting is beautiful as is the quilt! I love the blue/yellow combo! You will have this puppy done by August, if not before since winter is still around!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your inspiration on the Show and Tell Monday / Bambi
