Floral Vase Arrangement, Block 11

After a several day break, I'm appliqueing again.

This is block 11, Floral Vase Arrangement from the Pastor's Attic Quilt.

Several of the vase blocks have inlaid flowers. These are the first ones I've made. They weren't difficult and they certainly are attractive.

The embroidered stems add a nice touch.

Next Sunday this block should be finished. Have a good week!

I did some flowers similar in style as to those you have just worked on. Was not as hard as one might think it would be.

I was dreading these, but they weren't any harder than anything else I've done so far.

Nice block -- beginning. I'm not a fast appliquér so am amazed you can get this done in a week! Good luck.

I've been working on this block for more than a week. I do think I'll have her completed by Sunday.

Hi Gretchen how lovely these blocks are, you must have a wee pile finished now. Those inlaid rose buds look wonderful, will have to look up how to make them. Keep warm Hugs Glenda
